If you’ve been following me on social media, you’ll know that I’ve been posting about the location of our Elf on the Shelf, Nicki, from the day after Thanksgiving (known as Season’s Greetings in my house) until Christmas Eve. I have the photos from our first year doing Elf on the Shelf on my blog and hope to have photos from the last 5 years up on the blog by next Christmas season.
Well Nicki the Elf has gone back to the North Pole so I am switching gears for the new year. With a school aged kid and a toddler, I haven’t focused much on my blog (or my YouTube channel) but I’m hoping to change that. I have TONS of craft supplies and just haven’t taken the time to do any of the crafts. I’ve found that buying craft supplies and using them are two completely different hobbies. This is the year I’m going to actually complete those crafts. I will be crafting my way through, 2022.
So, what kind of crafts will I be doing?
My mom gave me a 3-month subscription to Adults & Crafts for Christmas in 2019. And I loved the idea so much that I continued the subscription. Well it’s been TWO years and I haven’t completed a single craft *slaps head with hand*. Completing the crafts from my subscription is one of my goals. I have a couple of other project ideas that have been swimming around in my head that I want to put into action. I also received a Silhouette Cameo 4 for Christmas (I know I’m a lucky woman). I’ll be learning how to make things using my new cutting machine as well.
My first few blog posts will include a few things I’ve completed over the last few years as my family takes some time to celebrate our oldest turning 7. Then I will jump into finishing (ahem *starting*) the rest of my crafts.
I plan to send out emails monthly with a recap of the crafts I’ve worked on in the past month. If you want to receive those emails, make sure to subscribe.
